Fellow Americans, it is with the utmost pride and sincerity that I present this article as a living testament and recollection of history in the making during our generation.
Allow us to reintroduce ourselves.
Heeellllooooo and welcome back to college football. We are still a few weeks from the start of real football, but practice videos are starting to circulate and so too are some strong opinions which people will inevitably deny ever holding after that first conference loss in Week Five. But this isn’t about them. Yet.
It’s going to be a fun season and we here at Message Board Geniuses want to give you a little preview of what to expect from us for the 2023-24 college football season.
First off, let’s meet the team.

FightOnRusty is our resident list-maker and expert of all ranked things. He’ll be bringing you the Worst Twitter Takes, Upset Alerts, and Heisman Rankings throughout the season.
BamaWill is the team’s SEC expert and self-appointed pitmaster/DJ. His weekly “Vibe Check” article gives insight into the psyche du jour of all those teams you love to hate.
HawkguyMatt is our esteemed college football therapist. He’s an Iowa fan who willingly chooses to watch Brian Ferentz attempt Offense every week so we figured he’d be the best at understanding your misery and pain.
txhatch is the gang’s columnist and feature writer. He’ll have top 25 previews and weekend recaps all year long.
We’re excited as hell to bring you content this year.
Second, yes we see you lol.
Turns out, it really isn’t that hard.
We are fortunate to have wonderful readers like yourselves and a great group of followers on Twitter and Instagram. So, lighten up a little.
While you may think we don’t like your team or we only want to point out the crazies in your particular fanbase, I promise you it’s not that deep. We’re here to laugh. We’re here to take the sting out of losses and to make the wins a little sweeter. And not to steal too much from Nicole Kidman, but we come to this place for just a little bit of fun in a world and college football landscape that seems to be missing more of that every day.
So cheers to you and cheers to the 2023 season, let’s have some fun this year!
