Clemson’s 41-10 win over Georgia Tech Monday night was a lot trickier than the final score suggests. For much of the game, the Yellow Jackets’ defense stood tall against the fourth-ranked team in the country but depth and talent eventually won out.
But some Clemson folks think the talent isn’t all that great, starting with the QB. DJ Uiagalelei retained his starting status after a lackluster 2021 season but five-star freshman Cade Klubnik is trending with the Tiger faithful.
Uiagalelei’s grasp on the starting job has been loose according to fans and even Dabo himself apparently.
DJU still has some defenders, most of which blame the offensive scheme he’s in which he operates while others put fault on the rest of the team.
Some think it’s everything.
Rivals has Clemson’s recruiting classes from 2018 forward ranked in the top 10. So how can that many players be at fault? Some say it’s Dabo himself.
At least one fan still sees the positive from Monday night.
It sure seems like Clemson fans are looking at the panic button and the clock at the same time waiting for things to collapse. How long DJU is the starting QB is a mystery but expect a shakeup in the near future.
