LSU left drunk-crying on Bourbon Street

Monday morning has come down hard for LSU fans. Just like Brian Kelly’s accent, the optimism of Tigahs fans has disappeared.

Realization, and possibly even enlightenment, seems to be settling in along with any potential hangovers.

There’s even some very appropriate comparisons to make in soldiering through your feelings.

Fans are turning on players already.

Everyone knows players can’t also be people.

There are your usual fans complaining about the roster talent.

And what’s a bad loss without missing the previous guy and wondering what could’ve been? Message board magic ensues.

LSU had hiccups in the season opener of a first-year coach and lost to a P5 team by one point. Personally, I think the Tiger faithful are under-reacting.
